Have bought a session on the Qantas 747 simulator for SO, this session actually has a flight number! Do you think this entitles us to lunch in a lounge first???

I think you'll find that it's not actually the one used by Qantas. The QF simulators are not open to the public.

Just dont ask for a boarding pass at the desk, they may reassign you!

It could be a last minute equipment change.

I think you will find that it is. Whilst that used to be the case, the reduction in the 747 fleet has opened up some slots that QF is flogging off for points.

LOL, considering they are the only ones with a 744 sim in Australia, the only other possibility involves a trip a bit longer than a day!

Did my Sim experience yesterday.

Awesome experience.

Tour of flight facilities, safety training on emergency evcuation procedures on all type of QF aircraft, water ditch training including seeing crew training in the pool, then followed by the Simulator for about 1.5-2.0 hours with our experienced pilot Bob

Great experience and well worth the points

Nice touch by QF to give us professional photos of us during the experience and a model A380 to play with as well! )
