Hi All,

Looking to buy a Mac Book Pro via the Qantas shopping mall. Would like to get via DJs as is 4 points per dollar. Apparently it says in the exclusions that some apple products are not awarded points and there is no further information on what products?

I also looked at the Apple store and it says they are not eligible for points when purchases individually? Any thoughts or anyone had experiences with purchasing apple computers via this?

I'm not sure what the details are for David Jones.

I suspect you may have misread the Apple T&Cs:

Qantas points are not awarded on the updated iMac 27-inch, Mac Pro, Apple Pro Display XDR, Bose products, iTunes, financial products, gift wrapping, gift cards, One to One Membership, Apple Developer Programs, pre-paid orders, AppleCare products purchased individually or after the applicable product has been shipped, or on freight, tax or handling charges. There is a maximum cap of five (5) units per eligible product in each order, except iPhone, in which case reward points will only be issued for up to two (2) units per customer within a thirty-day (30-day) period. Qantas points will not be paid on units exceeding this cap.

The exclusion seems to be for Apple Care products purchased individually.

Otherwise you could try Kogan - that's also 2 points per dollar.

No Apple products are eligible for Qantas points from David Jones when using the shopping link.

Qantas points are also not awarded on all products from the following brands; CHANEL, Politix, Apple, Country Road, Witchery, Trenery, Mimco, Miele, Ultraceuticals, Luxaflex, David Jones Flowers & Wine Club.

As the above post mentioned, all Macbook Pro's are eligible for Qantas points, but the Mac Pro (the desktop version) is not.
