Qantas on-line upgrades

Does anyone know why Qantas does not accept flight upgrades when u choose to upgrade a booking. I am GFF and in the past have always been able to upgrade a flight booking. Now when I try it says no upgrades are available at this time when I know via Expert flyer that there are upgrades available. Is this a qantas problem or the rules have changed re upgrades being available until close to departure. Apologies if this enquiry has been already answered.

The upgrade system has been broken for some time much like a lot of their terrible web site. Ring them - they'll do it instantly over the phone.

If you are referring to domestic - call QF and they'll sort it over the phone fairly easily.
