I remember when I went silver I got a free single access pass, then when I went gold (since expired) I didn't get any (obviously had one with gold)

How do Qantas figure out who to give a free pass to each year?

Thanks

HT

Qantas Silvers get a single free lounge invite each year, sent out when you first qualify, and then on each anniversary date if you requalify.

Golds and above don't get any passes because you are entitled to ongoing access, and can bring a guest each time.

If you downgrade from gold to silver, you'll get the free pass, and then again each year if you maintain silver.

Some credit cards also provide Qantas Club passes, sent annually.

Thanks Mel. I did wonder, I thought I was a silver for a few years without getting them. I must have been mistaken.

Thanks again.

Automatically sent to the address on your profile. It may pay to check the correct address is showing. I know when I moved a while ago this is one of the many addresses I forgot to change

Yeah I updated it when I moved back to Australia. That said, since moving back here from the UK I've only flown the once to JFK return. I used to do LHR -> PHL about 3 -4 times a year, that coupled with many other business trips (hence acquiring gold at for a few years)
