Gave a friend a business lounge entry. She is flying home today from London
Unfortunately she didn't link the invitation nor could she remember her pin.
She didn't get in
However I rang her and spoke to the Qantas staff member and she was trying to hard to get my friend in the lounge.
She said even if she could see the invite she would let her in
I though that was very nice of her to say she would do that considering the invites are supposed to be linked 24 hours before

* I couldn't find a bricks or bouquets thread for Qantas

Sounds like your friend doesn't really deserve a lounge pass :)

Reminds me of the times I have set my sister up for lounge access only for her to just forget etc... you have to be on the ball to get what you want.

I have just asked a solo traveller in the past if they could guest an additional guest in, and it’s been yes in both occasions.

You may not be aware, but BA15 departs from BA's terminal 5 and not where the Qantas lounge is (terminal 3).

No I didn’t. Thanks so much for letting me know. Do I presume that I could still only guest one tho?

If you are Qantas Gold = oneworld sapphire, you are normally entitled to one guest.
I've never seen any sapphire level status allow more than one guest in an international setting.
Come to think of it, even one tier up at emerald it's one guest.

BA lounges in T5 where you will be may have a different policy but I highly doubt it, even for their own elites.
