Qantas Green frequent flyer tier

This is not ideal bussyboy... I'd planned on doing pretty much the same thing you did. Was an uncomfortable bed the issue for the poor night's sleep or something else?

Cheers,
Matt
The hotel rooms are level 1 and 2 of the building, the "horizon" view extended only across the street to the bushland. While a Edinburgh is a busy road and the soundproofing wasn't the best, i was kept up by an intermittent low rumbling noise until after midnight which for a while i thought was the bass from the cinema. This started again around 6am, and may have related to the hotels sliding door at the entrance.

Besides that, room was fairly small despite being a larger one, and there was no desk - i had intended to do some work, so that was out.

You dont need to sleep overnight :) only check in

When I did the green hotel recently, I was already staying at a nicer (work provided) hotel in Sydney, so I just checked in and out immediately and then left.
I was tempted to head home, but thought to stick out the 'experience' and do up a review at some point...

Thanks. Makes sense. Was hoping to make a night of it rather than do as burneracc suggested... May have to play it by ear
