I'm a few wines in, so pardon any rubbish.. [a good signature, perhaps]
So as some of you may remember QFlink had a sale in response to VRegional's launch about 6 months ago.
I live in Melbourne, but decided to get on a $59 flight from BNE to Longreach.
Two nights here, and I do not regret it. The QFM is great. I would recommend it to many of you. The photos to the talking.
I tried to search for similar topics, no luck.

The big bird is a 747-200, retired in 2002. I did the $150, 3.5 hour platinum your and it was worth it. I was lucky to be one-on-one, though there's a maximum of 4 pax in peak season.
Of note to me was also the 707 on display, including a fascinating DVD to watch at the museum.
I had a tour guide called Trent and he was fantastic.
The $150 included a 6x4 printed photo, a full tour of both big birds, and wing walk on both. And a $9.95 lunch voucher, a great burger and chips costs $10.50, so it's useful.
I recommend this to all of you. Although I suspect many of you have heard all this before!
I will upload more photo on my train journey on the Spirit of the Outback tomorrow from here to Emerald. My first time there, too.
