Does anyone know where QantasLink fly their Dash 8 200s, and what kind of schedule they are on?

Lord Howe Island is one destination (not sure if it is the only). They can only get the DH2's down there and it's on my bucket list to check out.

For schedules go to Qantas.com and look up timetable from lord Howe.

LHI can't take any other bird?

Make sure you get there... it's a fabulous place!

I will!

A) to visit the place - hear it is amazing
B) to tick off the 200 - last remaining aircraft type/variation I haven't flown in the QF fleet

Two birds one stone :)

There was one subbed on CBR-SYD a couple of months ago. My travel companion asked on boarding 'Where is the rest of the plane?'

I am fairly sure I flew one going from NTL to BNE a year or three back, though normally they fly the Dash 8 300s on that route.

Does anyone know where QantasLink fly their Dash 8 200s, and what kind of schedule they are on?

They may be using these little birds on their additional services to TMW. Can anyone confirm?

Correct,
In fact, they'll be sent anywhere in the NSW network.

Primarily on;
QF2012/2013 SYD-TMW-SYD
QF2048/2049 SYD-DBO-SYD
Most BNE-ZBL-BNE and BNE-CTL-BNE flights.

They used to use them from Tamworth to Sydney.....I used to hate them!! Avoided them whenever possible as had a few very turbulent flights on them whereby they used to just "drop"!

Now the Tamworth route using the 300 or 400 series...much nicer!! I always do try to pick the 400 flight though if I can!!

Sounds like fun to me :)

The Q400 is still my choice for regional turboprop. The ANVC technology (or NVS as Bombardier called it when they built the Q400) does work well :)

Pretty sure I had one BNE-NTL (although may have been a -300 it was a while ago).
