Is it QF metal and LAN code-share, or LAN metal (LA800 / 801) and QF code-share?
QF metal and LAN code share.
LAN doesn't fly direct to SCL, only with stopover in Auckland.
Is it QF metal and LAN code-share, or LAN metal (LA800 / 801) and QF code-share?
Hi JohnPhelan,
Thanks for the response. The credit voucher was for a cancelled return international flight. Qantas told me that I can only use the voucher to make one booking, hence I couldn't make a separate say for e.g. SYD - MEL on another occasion.
However, you've got me thinking. Maybe I can use it for internal/short haul flights. e.g. SYD - LHR and then (on the same booking) LHR - ZRH
I should be able to do that right? However, if I do not have time to make a short-haul flight on the booking, technically I then wouldn't be able to use the voucher...

You could always ask for multi-city booking with a voucher, thereby incorporating the advice given earlier.
The online function only allows simple point A - point B return trip, necessitating operator assistance (and fees) to get the multi-city booking.
I did this for my voucher this week.
Was just reading the general credit voucher terms located here:
http://www.qantas.com.au/travel/airlines/cancel-flights/global/en
At the bottom it states:
"Important Information
*Cancellation conditions vary depending on fare type.
^Issued based on the terms and conditions of the fare purchased. Must be used within 12 months from the date your original booking was created. Multi city, Round the World bookings and Jetstar flights are not eligible for credit voucher redemption."
Seems that multi city bookings are not allowed with a credit voucher? Did you get lucky with the rep you spoke with?

True, that was the feeling I got when I wrote in another post "QF God must be smiling at me today".
Most other posters warned me I could not do it, but it worked for me: extending the flight by 5 months (past the voucher expiry date) AND multi-city booking at the same time.
She just happily processed my request as if there was nothing to it.
