I have 3 Qantas Club Invitations to be given away with conditions.
2 are valid until end December 2012
1 is valid until end of February 2013

The February 2013 Invitation will be given away on its own.
The December 2012 Invitations will be either on there own OR as one - my discretion.

The conditions are:
1: No personal messages saying why you want them - if you do then you WILL not get one.
2: Post here why you would like an Invitation.
3: I am partial to funny stories or a reason that will make me laugh - you might need to be creative or have a dirty mind ;)
4: No replies after 6PM Saturday 27 October will be considered unless you are female, 18-23 years old and are looking for a middle aged man with no money to have a bit of fun with ;)
5: If you are selected to receive an Invitation, you are expected to do a random act of kindness to someone as thanks.

The Invitations are of no use to me so someone else might as well find them useful.

Edit: Forgot to add, have in post if you are after Dec 12 or Feb 13 Invite.

Excellent gesture! And adding the competition is a nice touch.

Very generous of you...fantastic!

Unfortunately not able to be in the running as I'm not 18-23, however I am blonde and a female..so must count for something ;)
Oh and I must mention the story of a guy trying to pick me up in the Hilton Sydney Lounge a couple of months back.....I thought he was just being very friendly and nice and asked him if by any chance he was on AFF. (meaning of course this forum). He in fact thought I meant Adult Friend Finder and thought he got lucky and gave me his card and asked for me to come past his room later that night.
I declined politely...and that will be the last time I EVER ask anyone if they're on AFF again!!

That is SO funny. I'm still laughing.

Mr Mella wasn't laughing when I told him...and by "coincidence" the man was waiting outside for me when i said i was leaving the hotel at 7pm to go to a concert. So I introduced Mr Mella to my new buddy who looked just a tad uncomfortable when he realised I wasn't lying when I said I was married.

Well at least Mr Mella knows he's got some competition now :p

normally i'd just skip over this type of thread knowing that i'd never write anything witty enough to warrant one, but then i figured i might as well tell my sad story and see if you'll have pity on me. i have a qantas amex card for the sole purpose of the 2x lounge vouchers. i travelled to europe this year, and used one of them on the outbound leg. i also have a priority pass, but more on that later. in the last week of my nearly 6 months trip i had a holiday in the canary islands when the worst possible thing happened. i had my passport, travel wallet, credit card wallet, iphone etc. all STOLEN from my apartment WHILE I WAS SLEEPING. yes, and that included my last qantas voucher. can't claim that on travel insurance! thing is, even though i got into the priority pass lounge (without that card amazingly), i actually owed my friend a card (because he gave me one the year before and when i didnt have the amex card), and i was going to mail it to him as we agreed (whoever has one handy and the other needs one we would exchange). we are (were) both students, and i'm cancelling that amex card now anyway because of the high fee (too much for me). so if you feel sorry for me, that card would actually go to a friend to return the favour he lent me. no big deal if you don't select me, just give it to someone who actually needs one (is QFF bronze and will actually use it). i'd do the same. did i mention my passport was nearly full from since i started travelling 7 years ago? yes i'm still pissed off.

edit: the dec'12 would be fine, as my friend would use it before expiry.

I'd love to get my hands on one, either the December or Feb would suit. I have one pass (due to being a lowly QFF silver) but will be travelling with my wife. Any little 'bonus' will help - travelling to Hayman Island for a wedding and wow, I haven't seen prices like it anywhere else in Australia. $650 per night for the cheapest room!

I'd love one to help me avoid a little issue I have gotten myself into. I relocated earlier this year to Canberra to join a graduate program and am a SG. A good mate and I booked to travel home to Melbourne on the 21st of December and I told him I would guest him into the lounge and enjoy many a beer and reminisce about the year before we part and see our families for xmas. My gf who is from Sydney (who usually drives) booked a flight home that night at a similar time without telling me! Now I have a predicament where I promised a mate entry and my gf who will naturally expect entry with me. I have been thinking of how I can get around it and you good sir may have a solution for me that keeps everyone happy and me out of trouble!

I found AFF couple of days ago wondering about QP and SC after dropping out couple of years ago. I have a couple of "travel projects" with the "mini-me" as part of his "get away from yourself" education. I signed up this morning after too many "lurker views"... and coincidentally bumped into your incredibly generous competition offer. Hey, I could use any one of those, definitely being in 'begging' class rather than 'choosing' class!

My funny and completely non-racist (seriously) story is as follows: Some years ago, I asked the aforesaid mini-me what he would like to be when he grows up. The reply was "aboriginal". Fearing the unthinkable i queried his thinking... "They live in the bush and are allowed not to wear shoes". I think this was when i first realised he needed to get out more. Cheers!

I just bought a membership yay me and HWMBA, poor credit card :-S lol
I don't need one for myself now, but I have a few trips coming up and am more than happy to give them out at the airport to a dishevelled traveller, I can pick a hot blonde, maybe european(??) girl to give one too should you wish it. Its less awkward for a girl to do it I guess. Match up the dates and you can reap the rewards lol
Flights - November and Feb already booked.
Alternatively - I could invite my tall thin single female friend on my trips. I don't know what colour her hair is but I can tell her to bleach it lol. She is however a lesbian so she doesn't have any interest in men - regardless of the money or not

I am putting my hand up for the February QC pass. Having been a member for 12 years I let my membership slide as my job doesn't require me to travel anymore. Seeing I paid for my own membership i couldn't see the point of re-newing.

Silly me forgot about holidays. In February I am off to Hawaii. Meeting up with friends for a surprise birthday party but while in Honolulu I am having a little bit of work done (if you get my drift). So of course I only need a pass to leave AU as I am going to look sooooooo FABulous that people will be begging to take me into the lounge when flying back to AU.

Seriously i'd love a pass. This will the first time travelling international without QC and I'm scared I'll break out in a rash and have anxiety issues if I can't use the lounge - you may now wipe the tear from your eye.

Fly day is 9 Feb 13. A random acts of kindness... when I see tourists taking photos of each other , I ask them if they'd like me to take a photos of both of them. They always say yes and appreciate the gesture.

Well, who has "won" ?

After much deliberation, I will be giving 1 pass to..... Drum Roll // <- that looks like drum sticks?

Edge - 1x December 2012 pass - Better keep the wife happy, though would of liked to see the look on her face as you left her outside the door to the Qantas Club

Maggs - 1x February 2013 pass - I thought you were going to say "would you like to take photos of me (being you)" to the tourists.

Shellthom - 1 x December 2012 pass - my daughter (13) just had her appendix out and took to the pain relief too much. In her Hospital bed she "went shopping" apparently and bought me a European Nurse to take care of me when I'm sick and rubbed my tummy as she told me - what a great daughter I have.
So giving the pass to a female European, busty and blonde or brunette would be nice ;)

Sending Private message to each shortly.

mrfreeze you are hilarious, keep up the creative writing.. You might win a Qantas lounge pass.;):D

Well done to the people you choose and hope they do in fact pay it forward in the spirit of what frequent flying and this community is all about.

However interesting I must say that all awarded to people to (bar one) that have only joined AFF recently all with very few post counts.
