Hi all

First time booked a classic reward flight to you europe, all segments are via Emirates. The flight is Saturday, on checking in i noticed that boarding pass (emirates) doesnt show my Qantas status. Is that normal ? It does show QFF frequent flyer #. How do i get exccess to Emirates lounge in MEL without the boarding pass showing my platinum status ? Same goes for additional baggage allowance, if i take my platinum card, will that suffice ?

I am unable to checkin on QFF site had to do this on emirates site.

Thanks

Was the award on a QF codeshare flight or on the EK flight number?

regardless I have seen this happen on a revenue booking but when getting BP's on check in the status was fine. If not once at the airport, just get them to fix it up.

Alternatively keep your QF card handy if you have it and/or the QF app showing current status.. but I do not think this would be required.

Possibly try asking a check-in agent at MEL to remove and re-add your QFF #

At MEL you are also entitled to use the QF F lounge as well as the EK lounge.

I am almost certain it's going to be an EK flight number, as I don't think you can get the QF codeshare as an award flight on EK

Just show your platinum card along with your ticket and you'll have no issues.

It is not a code share , my frequent flyer # is listed , not status , i guess will take qff card along, flight is 5 am so qf lounge will be closed
