Definitely no reciprocal FF benefits - Virgin America's Elevate program doesn't even have different tiers anyway.

I noticed this on the site quite some time ago but still have no idea what the partnership actually involves.

Maybe interlining?? No idea.

Funny things do happen.

Air NZ still randomly book onto QF domestic services even though they are a major shareholder of VA... Happened just the other week for a family member?!
 
Agree likely to be interlining.

Similarly I'm surprised United connecting flights are offered on the QF website on certain US routes.
 
Also just saw this. It's interesting that they have the logo but no details on the partnership.. Would find this a very odd partnership.
