I'm sure that many members on this forum currently use or have used this card due to the benefit-cost ratio. I've been using this card for well over a year, and I can recommend it for the included benefits, especially the travel benefits. The annual fee is relatively high at $450 per year, however the Qantas flight credit of $450, as well as all the other benefits that come with this card, more than makes up for it, in my opinion of course.
The key travel benefits are:
1. $450 Annual Qantas Travel Credit to use on eligible domestic and international Qantas flights
2. Airport Lounge Access - Two Amex lounge entries per year, as well as two Qantas Club lounge invitations per year after purchasing select Qantas products and services
3. Complimentary Travel Insurance - for domestic and international travel when paying for a return trip on your Amex card
There's also Qantas Rewards benefits (such as a free Qantas Wine Premium Membership), as well as Service and Protection benefits (such as Card Purchase Cover), that you can benefit from.
Last but not least, you can also take advantage of the numerous cashback offers Amex provides to its card members throughout the year on the Amex app.
