With the introduction by SQ of premium economy sites for some of their routes I notice that the VA web sites are not offering PE seats for sale on their web site.

Has anyone done this or knows whether online purchase of PE seats on the VA website is going to become available.

I know I can purchase the seats via the SQ website but I'd rather fly on VA flight numbers.

SQ probably haven't released availability to VA. I wonder if VA are negotiating for access to it?

I called VA about this very question the other day and got a very helpful "Just look it up online... that's all we can see anyway".

And yes – that's the Plat line talking.

Sure enough, nothing online, and after calling back was told they couldn't see any availability.

Really, really want to see it added to VA's inventory as I want to add in a sneaky domestic connection to Sydney to stack up the points, and get PE to SIN. Pretty keen to take the new seat for test run.

Anyone else have any experience yet?
