Private Tour Guide/Driver in Paris

do you have only limited time? My last trip ( first actually) was spent doing the high points on the red bus, getting my bearings and then using the metro to get about and experience it all from the ground. I hadn’t considered a guided tour.

GPH, yes very limited time (about 7 hrs) as I will need to go back to CDG for my next flight.

So really about seeing the sights rather than lining up for a museum or art gallery?
That said the Petit Palais (across the road from the Grand Palais) is free entry and really superb exhibits. 100 metres from the metro station.
Again I reckon a red bus is the best way to go. You can hop on and off, and take in the atmosphere.
It stops near the Eiffel Tower amongst others.
We chose to use a car back to CDG it was €50.00 as I recall, but a lot less hassle than mucking about with the trains. Mind you we did have luggage as well .
