Priority Privilege, Gold Coast changes.

Unfortunatly last week we lost the "Crowne Plaza Royal Pines Resort" from the Priority Privilege program ,its now under new ownership,and is re named the "RACV Royal Pines"
Pity,I enjoyed getting plastered at their "Wine Buffet"
Look like ill have to join the Marriott loyality club,as I see the Marriott Courtyard on the GC does have a "wine Buffet"
I hope the Marriott are doing a better "extras" package than they were several year back when I last had their card.

It's been removed from PC as far as I can see.

Seems that way. Grr. Was planning a stay there early next year.

Thank goodness they are gone IMHO, did not respect any of the PC benefits for elite, had many exclusions to their Priority Privilege Dining discounts and did not know what a pillow menu was (that last comment from Mrs Markis 10). Needs a good CP in Brisbane now, at least we have one on the sunny coast!

Actually, last time I asked I was told that they will not have a new CP in Brisbane but will built another HI instead. I've been a regular at the HI but with the rate increase this year it's almost impossible to get a room for less than $230 (even with PP rate). It's absolutely overpriced!

Does anyone have access to any cheaper rates at this hotel?
