I have 5 Transferable Certificates to give away as I won't get a chance to use them and feel that others here can benefit:

1. Stay 2 nights for the price of 1 (x2)
2. 25% off Best Flexible Rate
3. Member for a Visit Dining (x2)

Will post photo as proof of transferability. Give away date is 31 January (to give people a month to use them, as validity is 29 February 2012) and I will request the postal address from the winners and mail at my own cost (Australian address only). Winner willl be advised in the thread.

How Do I Win (I hear you ask)?

Hmmm, should I choose first in, or funniest story, or most recent members, or only members I've met??? Well, rules are simple - one post only per person and that post must tell me something that is unique, or funny, about you in a FF or AFF sense. It must not be rude and those deemed inappropriate will be deleted. Please tell me which certificate you are interested in receiving.

This will be the first of a couple of giveaways I am planning on doing in 2012 - doing a clean out and have unopened amenity kits, empty amenity kits, airline stuff etc.

Re: Priority Privilege: Certificates to give away *expire 29/2/12*

Cool! Kind of you. Would go for the 2 for 1 nighter. The dinner one looks interesting, has a negative sliding scale on increased diners by the look of it. Is it 50% off or something for first two people? Couldn't see it clearly or zoom.

Are they valid in Australia only?

Re: Priority Privilege: Certificates to give away *closes 31 Jan*

They are valid until 29 February 2012 (I did have photos up, but was suggested I take them down - I'm not clever enough to know how to blank out my membership number). Also, edited the subject line to better show when people must have their entry lodged.

addyoni, front of Certificate states:

(Temporary) Member only at lunch/dinner: 25% discount
+1 guest, 50%
+2 guests, 33%
+3 guests, 25%
+4 guests, 20%
+5 guests, 16%
+6 guests, 14%
+7 guests, 12%
+8 guests, 11%
+9 or more, 10%

From the T&C overleaf, valid for use in participating IC, CP and HI hotels & Resorts in Aust, NZ and Fiji.

In fact, two other certificates promised to somebody else have just been returned (they were going to use before 29 Feb, but now going in March, so can't use them), so I have updated the original post.

Interesting thing. I'm honored get one of these certificates, if you are ready. ;)

Good manners will get you a long way in life, inter.

At the moment, you're well in the running to score one ;-)

It should be pointed out that you need to be member of the program to access the booking page for the certs!

The AFF community continues to amaze me :)

What a generous offer! Can I ask if a stay has to be completed by 29th February? Or just booked? Don't want to waste your time :)

That counts me out then. $300 or so for sign up probably isn't worth it for me, despite the free stuff they send as I hate big hotels & avoid them by looking for smaller ones or B&Bs. Already free member of HHonors etc.

There is value in the program for many though, I have just had two nights at the IC in SYD for $275 total, and have just had dinner for two at another hotel with a cheese plate for a total of $29!

Re: Priority Privilege: Certificates to give away *closes 31 Jan*

markis10, it doesn't state anywhere on the Cert that bookings can only be made via the website? All it nominates is that if the Cert is Transferable, then I must sign the Cert (then give to third party for use). The dining certs can be used on presentation at the hotel restaurant.

My understanding is that you need to be a member, you cannot book online the BOGO rate without being one, maybe via phone that problem is solved, however if there is no restriction why limit the online access?

Doesn't make sense to restrict access when you have transferable certs. Ringing PP and booking over phone at least would solve the problem. Might ring them to clarify.

Re: Priority Privilege: Certificates to give away *closes 31 Jan*

Looks like a couple of these are going to go unused :shock:...

Re: Priority Privilege: Certificates to give away *closes 31 Jan*

Looks like the current winners for the Certificates are:

addyoni - Stay 2 for the price of 1 (if you still want it)
hummel - Stay 2 for the price of 1 (if you still want it)
mannej - either 25% off Best Flex, or Member for a Visit Dining Certificate (or Stay 2 if either of the above members fail to claim)
cardiology888 - Member for a Visit Dining Certificate

inter was in the running but hit a hurdle coming up the straight...

Will still end up with one Certificate to give away, so any last takers?

Would like to have the Certificates mailed to the successful members by end of the week, so be quick.

Re: Priority Privilege: Certificates to give away *closes 31 Jan*

Apologies hummel, thought I'd responded. There is no clear direction in the T&C's on the back of the certificate, so I would err on the cautious side (booked and completed). Alternatively, ring Priority Privilege and see if you can get more than one CSA to agree with each other.

The AFF community continues to amaze me :)

Re: Priority Privilege: Certificates to give away *closes 31 Jan*

That's not sporting!! I thought the whole point was public posting... a bit of amusement for all... any chance of posting the winners??
Gotta make them work for it :)

Re: Priority Privilege: Certificates to give away *closes 31 Jan*

Yes, whilst I asked for stories to be posted here, two were sent by PM. One would have identified the poster, so decided not to post to protect their privacy.

You looking for the final certificate, UpInTheAir:) ?? Where's your story ;)

Re: Priority Privilege: Certificates to give away *closes 31 Jan*

Nah... I'm just looking for amusement at 1am :)
Thank you for the offer but it would be wasted on me also..
