Hi,
I have an 8 hour stopover in Changi next week, on Sunday evening/night.
My Amex allows me two Priority Pass visits.
I see there are numerous PP lounges to chose from, is one considered better than the others?
(Views of the airport and good food would be nice)

And secondly, its been a long time since I last flew thru Changi. Is the free swimming pool on the roof still there?

Any advice appreciated.
Geoff

Doesn't look like the pool is free:

The pool at Changi has never been free, even when it wasn't operated by Aerotel they still charged a ~$13 fee per person.

If I had to pick two I'd say

- Marhaba Lounge in T3 - my pick as best PP lounge at Changi having spent some time checking them out, good open air design with reasonable food/drinks/showers
- SATS Premier Lounge T2 - newer then the others and also quieter due to less T2 departures (most are regional SQ ones right now)

The two Ambassador transit lounges (in T2 and T3) both charge PP users for alcoholic drinks so worth keeping in mind if that is an issue.

Personally if I had 8 hours I'd clear immigration, assuming you're an Australian passport holder then clearing immigration is easy through the e-gates just fill out an arrival card via the app (or use the iPads in the immigration hall).

Jewel shopping center is open until 10pm with some better places to eat however I also highly recommend getting a Grab/Taxi to Changi Village (~10-15mins away - about $15-20 one way), there are some good cheap eats around plus a long walk down by the water front between flights is always better than being stuck in the airport. There is also a great brewery down there, Little Island brewing which is open until at least 10:30pm nightly (12am Fri/Sat).
