That is quite OK as you are entitled to your opinion. I do not think it is an unreasonable request to ask or even expect a person in an exit row not to recline if it causes discomfort to the person behind.

I believe the majority of people in exit rows, at least on my flights, do not recline. I for one do not recline when in an exit row, actually do not recline unless I am forced by person in front, and I know many other people who feel the same.

Johnk - I agree with your sentiments. I try not to recline at all as I always feel in economy that we are all in it together!
