PPS Downgrade to Gold or Silver?

I am currently PPS and have been for 4 years. This year, my SQ travel is limited. I will likely only receive enough points to retain Silver (which is not worth much at all).

Question : Does SQ gradually downgrade you to Gold or will I go straight to Silver and be locked out of any material benefits on my anniversary.

No you will be downgraded to Silver I'm afraid. No soft landing. Unless you have some reserve value from the last 4 years that can be used to get you across the line for another year of PPS.

Thanks Dajop.. Not enough PPS reserve to push me back up. Might just have to try for Gold.
