Just received an email from QR to check in for flight QR828 DOH-BKK. Not bookrd by me My AA account and Velocity accounts have not lost any points and it doesn't appear in my bookings with either. I tried to find out by using the PNR in the email but came up system error.
tried to log into my QR account and same result. They have a form to report fraud so I have sent that off. Weird.

Finally know what happened. The booking was made 12 months ago using Avios. then changed soon after when F became available. Booked as we had a cruise finishing in Doha. it was cancelled 9 months ago so the flights were cancelled and I now have found the cancellation emails. but on BA one had disappeared but the other on manage bookings came up as booking is being cancelled. Chat on BA.com and after an hour they said have to contact QR. but booking had now vanished on ba.com.
BUT WENT BACK TO QR and was able to login. booking wasn't in my next trip and not found with Manage my booking.

I had forgotten those bookings and so had BA with one obviously.
