Possible fix for jetstar.com QFF error

For anyone who has had trouble putting in their QFF number when booking on JQ;

Try putting in your QFF# and PIN into this link: Jetstar Airways Cheap Flights, Low Fares all day everyday from the world's best Cheap Fare airline

For me, that brought up a page with a "user ID" on it which I in turn placed in the QFF field on the booking page, and voila it worked.

I have a 7 digit QFF number, and my user ID was in the following format;

00xx_xx_x0 (So to zero's at the front, one at the end).

Hasn't shown up in my bookings on QFF (yet), but it appears to have stuck on my JQ itinerary.

Hope this helps others who had the same issue (especially those booking jetflex)

Unless there is a QF flight in the itinerary, there is no reaso for it to show up in your QFF bookings

It's never required me to put in the extra zero's. Quite random about whether the QFF credit will happen without prompting. Sometimes does, sometimes doesn't. Although, usually it doesn't.

4 weeks and waiting for 2 of my JQ flights that didn't originally post and a "missing points claim" done online.

Other flights that I've Missing Points claimed have turned up 2-3 weeks after claiming.
 
You know 3 of my 4 jetstar flights have turned up without prompting, 2 Starclass and a jetsaver, still waiting for another jetsaver to post.

When I booked the starclass flights I set myself up a jetstar web account before I realised that I could have used my QFF number to login into a jetstar account. That was a bit confusing and I couldn't get my booking to appear in the QFF jetstar account as it was already linked to the other jetstar account that I created. A bit weird given my QFF number was on the booking. Clearly Jetstar IT just doesn't link obvious things.
