Points upgrade after booking domestic economy

In the past I’ve been able to get a points upgrade to business from a paid domestic economy ticket immediately as long as there were Classic J fares available. Is this still possible?

If there is a classic reward seat available then yes the upgrade should be immediate.
However I don't think this applies if only classic reward plus is available.
