Points Transfers

just wondering if i am safe to do the following:
I have 3 eligible family members that i want to give me their vff points.

My wife has over 5000 points, however my father and daughter have less than 5000.

Can i send wife's to daughters, then daughters to dads, then dads to mine?

Yes it can be done as you described. I did the same thing without any issues.

I sent a few thousand to my girlfriend to get her over 5000 then sent the whole lot back

Beauty, great tip. My wife has 3000 or so points sitting there before we started to family pool. We have wondered how to get them out... Will check it out, hopefully the transfer can be for any amouht over 5000 and not in multiples of 5000

Can be any amount IME

What about linking accounts? For example, if dad links to mum, and mum links to me, will all points be transferred up the line to me?

In short; no. Both must be family pooled directly to you.

If it's only the points that you want, let them earn them and then transfer them to you (if that's what they want). It's usually the SCs that pooling is great for and points are just the icing on the cake.
