Over the last 6 weeks I've been flying MEL-SYD over the weekends. I book via the the VB website and always login using my Velocity # to register my flight at time of booking.

Even though my flight bookings are displayed under the 'My Bookings' section at velocityrewards.com.au every second or so flight does not actually allocate the required points to my account. I've been calling customer service to manually allocate these points to my account but it is pretty annoying!

Is this a quirk of Velocity? Am I doing something wrong?

If 'my bookings' show all my flights then I am assuming the flights are linked to my Velocity account and should therefore allocate automatically.

Mrmaxwell, it certainly sounds as though you are doing everything right. Can I ask how long you are waiting for points to (not) come through before ringing the membership contact centre? If they are able to manually credit you on the spot it would seem they have all necessary information to hand which makes me think there is some sort of delay.

Can you please PM me details and I will have it looked at.

Are any other members experiencing similar problems with points from DJ or VA flights not crediting?

cheers

I've never had any problem with points crediting. I Fly pretty regularly and can't think of a time when the points didn't credit (usually within about a week but often less) after taking a DJ flight.
