Points.com taking a long time to post points

Just wondered if anyone else is finding that points are taking a long time to post from points.com when you buy them in a hotel loyalty program sale. I bought some in the IHG sale and the first lot posted almost immediately and then the second lot took 4 days I think. Then I tried buying some Choice hotels points in their sale and it says it takes 24 hours to post. 24 hours came and went and I followed up with Choice who tried to say it's my visa card company when it's actually points.com. Very erratic and awards will go missing if it takes longer than the stated time.
