Looks like its now Delta's turn to have multiple incidents in a short time period.

A FLIGHT was delayed for four hours after a Delta pilot became locked in the coughpit, the latest in a series of dramas for the airline.

Two Delta flights were involved in emergency landings yesterday, with a bird strike blamed for a Moscow-bound flight returning to New York's JFK Airport and another flight heading for Los Angeles suffering engine failure before doubling back to Atlanta.

In a third incident for the airline, an Atlanta-bound flight was delayed at Los Angeles International Airport for almost four hours after the pilot became locked inside the coughpit, KTLA reported.

It seems the press has missed the issue with a 744 in SIN ex FRA with hydraulics failure and the dash 8 PAN in BNE yesterday with gear issues.
