Phone call 1 day before a 26 Dec flight in First?

I understand the Qantas first class angels call you 1 day before an F flight to book spa treatments among other things. I am travelling out of Sydney on 26 Dec so will they really call on Christmas Day?

Of course they will. Its a normal day for the jewish, Greek orthodox ......many people also work rreligiously affected or otherwise.

Thanks Spruce, I guess I was thinking that Qantas would be paying double or triple time for those working on Christmas Day, and further, would the average customer want or appreciate a call on Christmas Day... though I would

Old Calendarists still follow the Julian calendar and observe Christmas Day on January 7. It can also be referred to as Old Christmas Day.

It's never too early to prepare for the festive season IMO.

I'm happy to confirm that the day spa is open every day of the year, and we'll be contacting our customers on 24DEC for scheduled travel on 25-26DEC.

I beg to differ Easter is the most important date on the Greek Orthodox calendar and the Greeks celebrate Christmas on the 25th of December other Orthodox faiths follow the julian calendar and observe Christmas Day on the 7th of January but not the Greeks.

I did not say Easter was not more important. Greek Orthodox observe Christmas Day on the 25 December.

On the other hand any Old Calendarists, including Greeks, observe Christmas Day on 07 January.

For Greek Orthodox 07 January is John the Baptist Day.

For what it's worth, I did receive the call from the Qantas F lounge angels on the 24th for my flight on the 26th of December. And from memory the chauffeur company also called on the 24th.
