I previously highlighted these in another thread. MEL - CAN/PEK return is as low as A$429 if you can find flights with that fare. MEL - SGN return from A$499:

PR MEL/SYD - CAN/PEK $429 ret.; BNE - CAN/PEK $449 ret.; SGN $499 - $519

I don't believe stopovers (other than required to change flights) are allowable in MNL with these through fares.

Nonetheless, modern aircraft ex MEL, SYD or BNE: lie flat in J. Vast improvement on three years ago.

This sale has been extended until 20 January 2019, so still time to grab a cheap ticket although as usual not all advertised fares are as low each day.

The new routes to Phnom Penh and to Hanoi feature with fares. The April start for the Manila - New Delhi route, marking PR's return to India is yet to be confirmed in negotiations with Indian authorities so the fares don't seem loaded, which is a shame because more competition in getting to what will soon be the world's most populous nation is always welcome, as only AI flies nonstop and not daily from Sydney or Melbourne.
