I am hoping to get to Hawaii arriving 11th August 2016 and depart 15th August 2016 from Perth Western Australia using my Velocity points. HELP I have tried to look at the different ways of doing this but am just getting more confused. I think I would need to fly to MEL, BRI or SYD first then onto HNL. Just looking for the best way using the least points.

Any help appreciated

Adrian

Are you happy to fly in Y? I don't think there's any real prospect of redeeming for J on that route.

The most obvious option is PER-BNE/SYD-HNL on VA/HA.

You can't check HA availability online, so you'll need to call.

After that, PER-AKL-HNL on NZ or PER-SYD/MEL/BNE-AKL-HNL on VA/NZ/HA could work in theory but I'm not sure if you can use VA points on such a route and the AKL-HNL flights are quite infrequent.

Hi yes I thought that would be the case. How do I actually book HA with velocity points?
