Hey Guys,

First post on these forums so hopefully I am not breaking any rules and please excuse the limited use to TLA's.

Okay so I am planning on a move to Glasgow Scotland from Perth Australia towards the end of this year. Will probably be gone for at least 2 years so am unsure if I should look at purchasing a one way ticket or not.

I am hoping to do plenty of travel through Europe as well as touring the US, later next year, so someone has suggested a RTW ticket?

I am not fully decided on what Countries I want to see, so have no idea of what requirements and time frames exist on a RTW ticket.

Can an RTW be used like this:

Perth - Glasgow - work in Glasgow for 3 - 6 months
European Tour
US Tour

Also undecided on an upgrade on Economy class, I am 6'5" so the short 5 hour flights from the West to the East aren't too bad, but spending more than that could be quite uncomfortable.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, also let me know if you need anymore information.

Cheers

Unless you are going to be returning to Australia within 12 months, I would suggest getting a single ticket since the max validity of any roundtrip/ATW ticket is 12 months
