Hello everyone, just trying to cure some post holiday blues with more travel plans. Looking at flying Emirates from Perth to Dubai in December 2019 using QFF but the availability is only going up to 20 November. There are Emirates flights going from Melbourne to Dubai, and also Dubai into Europe well into December, but the Perth route is stagnant. Does anyone have any ideas why this is the case?

Also even though Emirates said they'd stop EK424/425 routes past March 2019, 425 is still showing up as cash fares on Emirates' website beyond this time.

Welcome to AFF.

Probably Emirates is just not releasing any redemption seats on the PER-DXB route at the moment. This happens sometimes on popular routes, especially in peak travel periods.

All you can really do is wait to see if they will release any seats down the track (although I suspect they probably won't), use an alternative airline/route or pay for tickets.

Adelaide is stagnant too. And Qatar didn’t even release any award seats for December.
