Finally tried out the airport line since our flight to DPS departed from T1. There is no way's I'd bother with the train to T3/T4 with the extra stuffing about there.

Given it's the cost of a regular train ride and almost door to door for me, it's something I'd do again. At the airport end it's a well protected, undercover connected from the train station to T1. Maybe a 200m walk at most.

Legroom is excellent! There are no specific bag storage areas which seems a little remiss on an airport line.

The so-called 'skybridge' is 280 metres.

One of the main criticisms of the SYD airport train. Even worse noting that they’re double deckers. So you’re stuck in the vestibule area with larger luggage.

Just passed through the airport but couldn't use the train line as I arrived after midnight. While the overnight gap in services isn't long it would be good if they can address the need for 24 hour trains to the airport

I guess the problem is you really need to run the entire train network then. Given this is Perth where everyone is in bed by 8pm, there is little need for public transport so late :)

Well you learn something everyday. Perth has a Train Link to it's airport, and Melbourne is well..................Waiting Waiting Waiting.
