It has been a long while since I have flown DJ to the east coast, so I am trying them out this weekend. I am booked on a flexi fare and luckily had enough points to upgrade to their new J class on the return MEL-PER leg.

I have been searching for some reviews on their new 737 J Class, and have not been able to find anything of any substance. In particular I will be interested to see what their F&B offering is like on this service.

Trip report to follow.

What time are you flying...

I was lucky enough to travel on the second service PER-BNE in J... But it was a red eye.
The breakfast selection was not great... But in saying that it was as I said only the second J service they had done.

The J flight is their last flight out of MEL on Sunday night. DJ697 @ 20:30.

I haven't got high expectations, but it will good to have a comparison against QF.

Thanks - I have read a few reviews of the A330 business service, but nothing about the 737 service. Seeing every flight from West to East now supposedly a business cabin, I am surprised no one has reviewed it yet!

I flew DJ J MEL-PER a couple of weeks ago. 8.30am departure, so breakfast service.

Was impressed with the service and F&B offering. Seat comfortable, IFE lacking (I had already seen most of the content on the portable device)
