Going to Hong Kong from Per Via Sin. Per to Singapore is with QF, then SIN to Honkers with CX, all on one ticket, will all the baggage go straight thru to Honkers ??

I think AvroAnson was referring to CX?

At least bobe will still be eligible for QF lounge access in PER flying to SIN...

Yes, I was thinking CX direct to Hong Kong. However I misread the original post and thought he was going via Sydney, which didn't make any sense at all.

I would definately look at PER -> HKG on CX. Both direct flights and both at good (for me) times. Still get FF points.

I was originaly going straight thru from Per- HK but with all the QF changes as you know they canned the direct flight so now have to change in Sin, they did give us another option PER- SYD - HK about 17 hours, no thanks!!

Since direct it is about eight and a stop in SIN will add another two via SYD is not as if you end up traveling to the ends of the earth.
Additional miles at roughly the same price are how QF silver status is converted to QF gold. Fortunately this logic is not limited to the QF program....

Happy wandering
