At $280 a bottle, it seems way overpriced. Like the vast majority of Penfolds offerings, you are paying for the name.

Penfolds wines are now way overpriced for what you get. Looks like this is not going to change with the champagne

The Thienot vintage (2012 IIRC), without the Penfolds branding, is currently being served in the CX F lounges at HKG. It is pretty good stuff IMHO.
