Turkish plane crash death toll rises to three after jetliner skids off runway

A passenger plane flying into an Istanbul airport skids off the runway, crashes through a field and splits into three pieces, killing three people and injuring at least 179.

SOunding like solid wind conditions and a long landing but I’m sure the details will emerge in the fullness of time.

Not in a hurry to use Pegasus reading their history....

For those who are not in the know, are you saying perhaps the landing shouldn't have been attempted?

If the quoted conditions are correct, then they should have been landing in the other direction.

Certainly made a mess of the plane. Perhaps even beyond duct tape.
