Hi everyone,

I have a query regarding booking a premium economy ticket to Europe via Abu Dhabi, with VA on the first leg and EY for the second. I'm hoping to upgrade to J for the VA leg, however, while I am aware EY has no PE cabin, does the fact that you have booked a PE ticket the whole way change the level of service on the EY leg? Do you get a better seat selection? Increased baggage? Premium food + drink? Or does it make no difference whatsoever to the whole Y cabin. I am a gold member if that changes anything too?

not sure if this info is posted anywhere on the velocity/va website but couldn't see so apologies if I'm asking an obvious-to-answer question

cheers.

You won't get anything extra over a Y passenger on EY.

Etihad Airways~~
  • An additional 15kg baggage allowance

The PE ticket will mean nothing to EY

It is a mixed cabin class booking, so for the VA leg you are booking into a PE class with VA and for the EY leg you are considered an economy passenger. You will get nothing out of the ordinary on EY
