Which dates? Says it excludes June 7-10.

You can find the Grand Hyatt for less and IMHO its a far superior property and in a better location.

Only up to 31 August and yes some dates like the long weekend are excluded. Thanks for the reply.

Would disagree that the Grand Hyatt is superior to the Park Hyatt - having stayed at both a bit I prefer the PH as it has much more charm and sophistication and a quieter location than the almost sterile GH (accepting my view might be skewed as a Diamond member)

I'd be checking the dates you want to go and I think Park and Grand Hyatt Melbourne are both good so if it is cheaper just to book Grand Hyatt I wouldn't buy the voucher - if it is cheaper to get the voucher than book either of the properties get the voucher. I have stayed at both properties for less, I got the park Hyatt for $320 in the club room (can't remember the rate for the standard room but it was less than $260) and was then upgraded to a suite so I thought Park Hyatt was great. I found a cheaper price online and called before booking anything. The person over the phone couldn't beat the price because of its source but they did match it and throw in the upgrade so it was like I was getting a discount (better for me). Grand Hyatt I used points only but whenever I have looked at paying for GH is has been more expensive than PH but I am told that isn't usually the case.
Both good, I don't think you would be disappointed either way.
I do buy deal vouchers - but I tend to contact the supplier directly and see if they will offer me the deal direct - that way they can keep more of the money and stay in business longer.

As a first time guest we were pleasantly surprised. Great location, nice facilities and clean tidy rooms.

Didn't bother using the lounge as the local options for drinks/breakfast were in another class. Highly, recommend having breakfast at The European - exceptional!

Great option for dinner too :)

Looked and tasted every inch a winner. The best breakfast I can recall having.........I'm sure lunch and dinner would be first class.
