We are flying back from Paris without a stopover, we have 2 hrs between our J class flights arriving Air France and Departing Qantas to come home, will the 2 hrs be enough to transit, find the Q Club and have a shower to freshen up?

In Singapore more than enough time.

In less than 1 hour I have gone from T3 to T1 (QF/BA lounges) and back again and had enough time to have a couple of beers and use the internet in the lounge. Singapore is a very efficient airport.

Not that I would do it .... 2 hours is enough time to pass through immigration, catch a taxi to nearby food centre, spend 30 mins having something to eat and drink with a short stroll along the waterfront then catch a taxi back to the airport ... back through immigration and ready to catch your next flight...

In other words you'll have plenty of time to visit the Qantas club and shower, especially as AF & QF operate from the same terminal. All you have to worry about is presenting yourself at the gate 15-20 mins before departure.

brilliant airport changi - easy done

have also found a much better shopping set up at the airport than some of the unsaviouries in town.

Food wise I would have no issues with eating anywhere in SIN, its very heavily regulated by the government.

The hygiene is !

I have issues eating at a number of places ... nothing to do with food hygiene, all to do with quality (only after visiting lots or living here do you understand why people queue 30mins for chicken rice at one stall and the stall selling chicken rice 20m away has no-one waiting).

I did mean to infer the hygiene, there is certainly a big difference between stalls for quality but the biggest fear mist Australians would have is unfounded.

Plenty of time to do what you want. Club is upstairs - as you come from the gates, head through the shops and look for the signs on your right. Well appointed Club and beautiful showers.
