Hi guys,

Can someone recommend me a hotel with a magical and unobstructed view of the Eiffel Tower? If its from the room that would be awesome but otherwise a rooftop bar or terrace would be just as good.

I have a budget in mind, upwards of $600/night at this stage, might spend more if its super duper good.

Cheers,

Alan

Hotel Splendid Tour Eiffel‏ costs about $250/night, chose a room ending in 7, e.g. 307 you'll have a direct view of the tower. However its 3 star at best.

Paris Shangri-la. Very beautiful hotel with spectacular views of Eiffel tower for duplex suite upwards. Not cheap though

The Shangri-la hotel is amazing and very close to the tower. You can splurge on a room with a view. We were fortunate enough to have a terrace which we had dinner on beginning with a complimentary bottle of bollinger... it was perfect. We had the same views from the bedroom and bathroom.

Thanks for the input :)

And the Shangri La (at this stage) is way above what I am prepared to pay :(

Eiffel Tower rooms (standard) are quite small...
If lucky, you could get one with a small "balcony" with good views of Tuilleries and Eiffel tower up the road.
Junior Suite Eiffel Tower view is best
Don't get the Prestige Suite (only two rooms together)

Planning something Alan?;)....I thought Santorini was the place....

Hotel Pont Royal has a cracker of a room on the top floor looking over St. Germain and the tower amongst other things. well worth a look. It is also directly above Joel robuchon "La'telier" restaurant which is highly recommended.

We stayed in the Pullman when it was the Paris Hilton.Good view from our balcony. The executive lounge had good views as well-I presume there is still a lounge.
Bit of a shame it changed brands.Much more fun mucking around with Paris Hilton than the Pullman.:p:oops:;)

I have a reservation for JR's Latelier, confirmed last week for a March sitting. Not too bad for such late notice really.

Nice one, go the degustation, a bit pricey, I think around 175 euros p/p but you get some very nice food. Sorry to hijack the thread.
