Why do emeralds and WP want a special greeting?

I don't, but mention it for the sake of comparison as others have done. Purely scientific interest.

No special greeting on board ever (OWE), checked luggage priority in name only, but Flounge access at KLIA and priority immigration on departure. Don't believe they have priority immigration inbound.

There are priority or separate inbound immigration lanes at KLIA but they only give those cards out to passengers travelling in J. Mind you, I've never been turned away when I haven't been in J and my boarding pass has my OWE status on it.
I've also had a very high success rate with priority luggage, which I've experienced in SYD, KUL, PEN, KCH, BKI, HKG, LHR & CDG (when they used to fly there).

They're the lanes with the carpet leading up to the counter, towards the left as you enter the immigration hall.
