Hello,

I am looking at using an optus travel pack for my travel to Singapore, Malaysia and Cambodia in 2 days time, I was happy to read the following.
[h=3]What's included in an Optus Travel Pack?[/h]Optus Travel Packs for Post-Paid services are just $10 per day and can cover a period of up to 31 consecutive days.
[h=4]Post-Paid Mobile Phone Travel Packs[/h]For each day you nominate, you get unlimited standard national voice and standard international voice calls, unlimited standard SMS (MMS is excluded) and up to 50 MB of roaming data to use or combine if your Travel Pack covers a number of consecutive days.
Eg. With a 3 day Mobile Phone Travel Pack you'll get unlimited standard voice calls, SMS and 150 MB of roaming data for $30. You can then use that combined total of 150 MB of data in just one day or over the course of those 3 days, it's your choice!
[h=4]Post-Paid Mobile Broadband Travel Data Packs[/h]For each day you nominate, you get up to 70 MB of roaming data to use or combine if your Travel Pack covers a number of consecutive days.
Eg. With a 5 day Mobile Broadband Travel Data Pack you'd get a total of 350 MB of roaming data for $50. You can then use that combined total of 350 MB of data in just one day or over the course of those 5 days, it's your choice!

International Roaming: Post-Paid Travel Packs

So I called to activate, as the online portal is not working, only to find out that the SMS and Calls are only unlimited to Australia, and that any calls or SMS, even in the country you are in will be charged the standard rates, which is only 1 per min, or 50c SMS. I have asked them to rectify their website as it clearly says international voice calls. It just says standard SMS.
It is always worth double checking...
