My number is with Telstra business. Only got a month to month mobile plan with them and only business for historical reasons. Anyone know if I can easily port my number from Telstra business to this Optus deal?

I'm not sure about the business aspect of your existing Telstra account but during sign up you definently have the option to bring across an existing number.

Just a FYI....got a call ftom Optus this am...I was still asleep! Checked a few Qs and did credit and ID check over phone. Then approved. Will get physical SIM in post in 2-3 days....so you are aware of the phone call :(

They didn’t call me. Mine was approved via email within 24 hours.

I didn't get a call but did get an email overnight asking me to call them back. I did, they verified a few details (all of which I had already provided) and then approved it.

If we take up the 99 plan, how do we go about adding international roaming? I have 2 trips in the next 3 months

I've signed up and am porting my number from Telstra. After the points credit I'll decide whether to change to another Optus plan or go elsewhere .

I think it said in the sign up, to expect a call.
I signed the wife and myself up. I already have a family account ( 5 plans ) they called me and approved. The wife was approved with no call.

I didn't receive my correct bonuses after i joined back in March, keep a good eye on this offer to ensure points are provisioned!

I'm an existing Optus postpaid customer on a low $30/month plan and wanted to switch to the $99 plan for 3 months for the bonus points, but unfortunately the offer isn't available to existing customers who want to upgrade their postpaid plan. Boo.

So 60K Qf pts for $396 spend = 0.66 c per Qf point...I'm tempted. ;) ps don't actually need the phone plan though
Edit: Ordered via Cashrewards for $30 cashback :) . Will use the SIM in my phone which is Dual Sim and use this new number for work related calls only and keep my old number for personal calls ;)
Have tried doing through Cash rewards but not bringing up this offer

I already have a plan with Optus so thought I would just sign up for a new service and drop after the 3/4 months, can you advise what what boxes to tick
Also trying to do through CR but cannot see the option for Qantas offer
Any help appreciated

Can you port to another carrier and then just port back (assumes no exclusion period)?

Probably a stupid question but am I right in assuming I will keep my number on the Telstra network up until the point that insert and activate the new Optus sim? Thinking I might wait until the last day (Sunday) to actually activate it.
