Hi all,
Since you can't book open jaw tickets on the website, what's been people's experience with booking them on the phone to the GCC? I'd prefer to book both ways rather than two single tickets to avoid the extra charges, but that depends on whether they will charge more for booking on the phone!
Thanks.

I use a TA based in PER which does a great job. Never tried over the phone direct with them, but it's certainly do-able.

Another option is to use Expedia. Should get the same price as the VA website too.

But with the caveat that you may not be able to pre-select your seat or use OLCI if you do.

Well - if online seat selection doesn't work, you can always call. Also, I thought OLCI wasn't available for itineraries with international sectors?

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

I did this last year, outbound syd-lax-sfo, outbound JFK-lax-syd. I booked the DL internal flights and was lucky enough to be speaking with a supervisor who made a note for me to be able to change to VX when those flights showed. Did that with no charge. Also no charge over the phone as you can't book it online.
