Ive complained to both QF and VA myself that it isn't being policed and while it hasnt been an issue when I've been there it could well get out of control.

No point having it if it isn't policed.

Sitting in the Virgin Lounge now, I was impressed at how heavily signed the priority queue was, makes it pretty hard to accidentally go down it, saw about 3 people get to the entrance and turn around to the regular queue.

Worked great for me, huge snaking regular queue and just 3 people in front of me, although no staff policing the queue it worked well.

The priority queue was the longest of all went I went through yesterday.

There were about 10 people in it. I went to the non existent queue on the far left screening position and was in the lounge 30 seconds later.

Priority queue fail for me just now. Tiger passengers ahead of me repacking their carry on to find that elusive deodorant tin and laptop. Would have been better off in another queue. 15 minutes in the lounge for a snack became 10.

A polite word from the screening guards to the passengers would be appropriate I think.

Otherwise a beautiful flight up this morning, hoping for an equally good experience on the way home.
