I am planning a one way flight to New York using Krysflier Miles.
BNE - SIN 2 day stop-over SIN - JFK in Business Class.

I was having problems and when I contacted Krysflier was told , cannot have a stop-over on a one way flight.

I am considering booking 2 redemption flights to do this and wonder if it will work.

Flight I. BNE to SIN and 2 days later
Flight 2. SIN to JFK.

Can anyone see a problem with this?

Thanks.

Apart from the additional KF miles required for 2 separate redemptions, can't see why you'll have a problem. Given you'll be stopping over in SIN for 2 days, there's no risk with misconnection.

It is going to be less miles if you can ask SQ to allow you to buy the Singapore stopover. I recall seeing other threads say that they have purchased a stopover on the one way awards for USD100.

This. Ask to pay the $100 for a Stopover and save on points.
