Raised this 2 years ago....need update
Can Australians get access to a one way ticket LAX to MELB:
1. When in LAX airport?
2. Attempting to buy online in LAX airport?
3. Using Paypal/28 degrees credit card?
4. Links/apps for short notice booking?
5. Paying as if an American and not as an Aussie in America having to use Australian site to pay?

If I wanted a One Way Fully "refundable" ticket for LAX to MELB on an exact date given:
1. Can you get this?
2. Can it be purchased cheaper from Australia via a link(to dodge OZZIE price hike TAX)
3. Links please
4. What are the conditions of getting money back on refundable ticket. Reason is: Don't need to use it.

Did I miss anything?

If you're not going to use the ticket does it have to be LAX/MEL or just LAX to somewhere outside the USA?

You could always purchase some Avianca Life Miles, book a ticket LAX/TPE for example then cancel it as IIRC there is only a USD50.00 cancellation fee.
