On a positive note....

After a little VA bashing over the last 6 weeks or so things seem on the up......

• Points and SC's have posted for all flights (even the dreaded first night of SABRE).
• $1000 credit to both hubby and myself for above flight in travel bank and easy to use.
• Cancelled a couple of reward flights booked pre SABRE quite easily and all points re-embursed.
• Fly ahead simple and easy from the 5pm to the 3pm flight SYD-BNE last week.
• Booked 2 reward J flights BNE-LAX-BNE for 376000 points and $250.00 and nearly very excited when seat selection gave option of Row 5, only to be told at the end would have to do seat selection on check - can't win them all!

Yep, I was credited over 200 Status credits from flights taken as far back as December today. I'd actually given up on seeing them as I was getting automated replies saying there was no records of these flights.

They might be turning a corner, I received my online statement today and it 'thanks me for my patience' and has a nice new layout. The fact that a link to the retro credit email is the number one item on the statement is an admission that they have has a lot of issues.

Surely you mean things are getting back to normal. I'm really not sure how fly ahead still working as it should is an improvement.

I've only had 2 flights since Sabre so can't comment too much, but in my case they were reward seats and the SCs posted the next day after each flight - so that is actually a day quicker than normal (and based on the stories about reward seats not posting at all I was pleasantly surprised).
