Air New Zealand will introduce an extra direct weekly flight between Brisbane and Queenstown
during the peak ski season in July following increased demand. It will take the number of
direct flights into Queenstown to 10 per week..
"We’ve just commenced earlybird ski deals out of Australia and our confidence in Queenstown
destination for Australians is showing good positive signs despite the current economic
conditions," said Glen Sowry, general manager Tasman Pacific for the airline.
